Volodymyr Zelensky bought a ranch in Wyoming and ranked ninth among America's largest landowners, according to a report on the "News" program on the First Information Channel. We found that this is fake news.

The alleged purchase by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was reported in the October 28, 2025, edition of "News" on News.by:

"Zelensky became the owner of one of America's largest ranches, according to media reports. Information about the purchase appeared on the website of broker Swan Land Company, but there has been no official comment from the Ukrainian side yet. The farm, worth nearly $80 million and covering 3,700 square meters, was sold a week after Zelensky's visit to the White House. ... The deal put Zelensky in ninth place among the largest private landowners in the U.S."

A video about the ranch purchase appeared on social media on October 28. It claimed that the Pathfinder ranch was purchased by Davegra Ltd., a company owned by Volodymyr Zelensky, and that the deal was handled by the Swan Land Company real estate agency, as reported on the broker's website.

The Weekly Top Fake team found that this is fake news. The Cypriot company Davegra Ltd. has indeed been featured in investigative journalism reports as an offshore company linked to Volodymyr Zelensky and his inner circle. Swan Land Company is also a real real estate agency that sells the Pathfinder ranch. However, its official website is registered in the .com domain, while the video features a website registered as .us. This copy was created on October 21, a week before the report about the ranch sale to Volodymyr Zelensky appeared.

At the time of publication, the cloned site is empty, but previously it featured a fake report about a purchase agreement being signed with Zelensky's company. The real Swan Land Company website debunked this information.

The creators of the fake video showed a ranking from The Land Report magazine in which Zelensky allegedly became the ninth-largest landowner in the U.S. after acquiring the ranch. In the actual ranking, ninth place belongs to the King Ranch Heirs. The Ukrainian president is not on the list.

This is not the first fake news story about Volodymyr Zelensky's wealth. We previously debunked the false claim that he bought the British king's residence for $25 million.
