Fact-checking: Ukrainian Won the World Sex Championship, Belarus and Russia Pro-government Media Falsely Reported

In a photo from social network X, a blonde with a blue and yellow flag is holding a certificate in the name of Nausi Love.

The World Sex Championship took place in Spain. The Ukrainian won it, as Grigory Azarenok and some Russian media claim. The Weekly Top Fake team verified whether it was true.

Belarus's top propagandist, Grigory Azarenok, discussed the news about the World Sex Championship with Evgeny Pustovoy, a political commentator, on the air “Azarenok. Napryamuyu” on April 8, 2024.

“The latest news in the feed. At the World Sex Championships, which took place in Spain, the main prize was won by Ukrainian Olesya Prikhodko,” the presenter voiced out the text.

In a photo from social network X, a blonde with a blue and yellow flag is holding a certificate in the name of Nausi Love. The post says she is from Sweden. It may seem that the woman is holding a Ukrainian flag, but according to the full-length photo, the flag has a sequence of colors, like the Swedish one.

The Russian media outlet Sport Express calls the girl a 'Swedish Ukrainian'.

We found the winner's website. There is no information about her alleged Ukrainian roots. The girl says she speaks fluent Swedish and English and knows basic French. There is no mention of the Ukrainian language. On escort websites, Nausi Love identifies herself as a Swedish student traveling the world. The nationality field says 'Swedish'.

We contacted the girl to make sure what her nationality was. But at the time of release, we did not receive a reply.
