After paying fees and utilities Brits have less money than Belarusians

After paying fees and utilities Brits have less money than Belarusians. Europe is inferior to Belarus in the field of family values. And Russia has attacked Ukraine because of the huge reserves of oil and gas that Ukranians allegedly have. We are going to present the top 5 news stories that were designed to fool you.

Belarus launched its first space satellite in 2012. This is what the presenters of Belarusian television tell, reminding the country's entrance into the closed club of World space powers. Important is that they do not mention the real launching of the very first Belarusian satellite which took place in 2006. The way it actually finished is not mentioned at all.

The project of the first Belarussian satellite was created in 2003. Alexander Lukashenko always supports the promising ideas of Belarusians. Therefore the president signed a decree on the launch of the national space program in 2007. And the first stage of the space life of our country has begun. It lasted from 2008 to 2012. During this period, our scientists have developed equipment and stuffing for it.

According to Maria Karaman, Belarus has been preparing to launch its first satellite for 9 years, from 2003 to 2012.

And there is not any word about the fact that the very first launch of the Belarusian satellite BelKA took place back in 2006.

But the attempt was unsuccessful, it has never reached space.

In explaining the fall, officials said that a Dnepr rocket booster had crashed.

It's funny that back in 2006, Belarusian television managed to report that the satellite was launched and that Belarusians have conquered space.

It seems that now they prefer not to remember this unsuccessful conquest of space.

For rewriting the space history of the country ONT gets fifth place in the Top-fake rating and one Gregory.

The 4th position of our rating.

The military awards of Ukraine are one to one like the Nazi ones.

It was told by the head of Belarus National State TV Ivan Eismont in the broadcast “Club of Editors” program. Servicemen of the 52nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were awarded this week. The awards are called "Steel Crosses". Does it remind you of anything? Let's look at the photo we have. By the way, there is a Nazi cross on the right, and there is the Ukrainian one on the left. Not much differ.

Firstly, there were servicemen not from the 52nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but from the 92nd.

Secondly, media workers also were tricky with that award on the photo. Because in fact the Ukrainian military award “Steel Cross” looks like this.

The award shown by Eismont was not a state, but the public one, which is called decoration of public glory “Steel Cross of the Invincibles”.

And thirdly, we offer such a comparison for those who see Nazi crosses everywhere.

There is a Nazi cross on the right, and the George Cross of the DPR on the left.

Next one. There is a Nazi cross on the right, and the Order of St. George of the Russian Federation on the left.

Or look at the Order of Alexander Nevsky.

Or at the Order of Courage.

But it’s not the end. The topic of Nazi crosses was picked up by Dmitry Zhuk, who is the editor-in-chief of the main state newspaper "SB Belarus Today".

You know, after Aleksievich was awarded the real “Iron Cross”, there is nothing surprising.

The Nazi award of World War II times Iron Cross has been awarded to no one since 1945.

In the GDR, it has been forbidden completely.

And what about Svetlana’s Aleksievich award. The Order of Merit for the Federal Republic of Germany was presented to the Nobel laureate from Belarus. Yes, the Order is designed in a cross shape. But as we’ve seen before, a lot of it has the cross shape.

However, Ivan Eismont presented one more example.

By the way, what does the military stuff supplied to Ukraine look like? You won't envy the veterans of the Great Patriotic if they see it. Look at the pictures they drive with. Is there in the video? This is Brest Fortress. It’s a pure Wehrmacht… pure Wehrmacht.

In fact, this is a pure Bundeswehr, the armed forces of Germany. The Iron Cross has been the symbol of the army since its establishment in 1955.

And the Germans mark their military stuff with a black cross with white stripes.

And there is a difference with the cross used by the Nazis. During WWII, the cross was flat. And the modern one expands to the edges.

We suppose that  it is quite natural if some military equipment coming to Ukraine from Germany has an identification mark of the armed forces of Germany.

By the way, the cross existed in different variations even before World War II started. It is more than two hundred years old.

So, 4th place in the Top-fake and two Gregories go to the broadcast “Club of Editors” for inciting discord.

Belarus is the keeper of family values, and Europe is giving family values up.

Once again, this favorite narrative of the state media was disseminated in the final weekly broadcast of the Belarus-1 TV.

Family values are what Europe is giving up. And parents didn't want such prospects for their daughters.

We decided to check if it's true that Belarusians and Russians have some special attitude towards creating a family. This is why we compared the data of marriages and divorces numbers for the same period.

This is what we got.

The map shows the number of marriages per 1000 inhabitants in the EU in 2019. In Belarus in the same year — 6.7 marriages. In Russia — 6.5. The map shows almost the same number for Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Hungary. The other countries have less.

So, Europeans don’t seem to be in a hurry to get married.

Now let's pay attention to the divorce rate in the same year 2019.

In Belarus it is 3.7 per 1000 people, in Russia — 4.

And we see that all the European countries have a divorce rate lower than Belarus or Russia. And finally it turns out that despite marriage becoming less common in Europe, unions are much stronger.

Well. Maybe in Belarus and Russia people give birth to more children? There were 9.3 births per 1,000 people In Belarus in 2019, in Russia — 10.1.

Here is data for the EU. On average in EU countries, the birth rate is exactly the same. But in some states of Western and Central Europe, the birth rate is even higher than in Belarus and Russia.

It seems that the power of family values in Belarus and Russia is greatly exaggerated.

Finally, for the greatness of the fake, the weekly broadcast of the Belarus-1 TV gets three Gregories and 3rd place in our top.

Let's go to 2nd place

Large oil reserves are discovered in Ukraine. This is one of the reasons why Russia has attacked Ukraine.

It is stated by Jordan Peterson, a Canadian psychologist and influencer whose videos are gaining millions of views on YouTube.

Also the deal is that Ukraine has on its own huge oil resources that were discovered relatively recently (c. 2010). For example there is natural gas mostly around the Caspian Sea and in the northeast. It is enough for  making Ukraine a major supplier of this resource to Europe (and thereby creating a threat of Europe's dependence on Russian resources).

If it were true, Ukraine would be delighted with such a news. But it is not clear what Ukraine has to do with the resources around the Caspian Sea.

The territory of Russia separates  Ukraine and the Caspian Sea. And the distance even from Lugansk to the sea is at least 600 km.

As for oil reserves, it might be huge, but then no one knows about it yet.

Ukraine ranks 49th in the List of countries by proven oil reserves. 400 million barrels of oil are considered proven. For example, Belarus is 5 lines lower with its oil reserves.

According to Ucranians, their oil reserves are 1,5 times bigger. It was discovered back in Soviet times. In recent years there wasn’t any work in this field.

Indeed there is a lot of natural gas by European measures in Ukraine.

The country ranks second after Norway thanks to 1 trillion cubic meters of gas reserves.

But now the conventional natural gas reserves are almost depleted. For new extractions of unconventional gas a large investment is needed.

Russia has 37 times more gas reserves, so Ukraine is a weak competitor for it.

And Jordan Peterson gets four Gregories and 2nd place in rating of fakes.

And finally, welcome 1st place of Fake news top

After paying taxes and utilities Brits have less money than Belarusians. Marat Markov, head of the ONT TV channel, calculated this on the broadcast “Club of Editors” program on Belarus-1 TV.

Soon the average salary will be $700 with minimum household payments. In this studio, we calculated that in the UK with an average salary of 2000, the Brits have less in their hands than the average Belarusian after paying all, without  mentioning utilities expenses in winter. It is what leaves after payment of all taxes and so on and utilities.

Well.

Firstly, the average salary in the UK is not £2000 pounds a month, but £2,750. And after taxes it is £2180.

Secondly, utilities expenses consist almost the same amount — £2500, only not per month, but per year. The British government guaranteed for the average household that utilities would not rise above that sum.

In total, an average Brit has about 2,000 pounds or about 2.5 thousand dollars.

Let’s look at Belarus. According to the state statistics the average salary is $650. This is what Mr. Markov says about.

But that's a gross salary, before taxes. Let's deduct the utilities expenses and the average Belarusian will have 500 dollars in his hands.

Do you want it to be as in Britain?

Seems that Mr. Markov got very excited in his calculations. Perhaps, he confused annual utility expenses with monthly ones. Or maybe he just made up some numbers.

We counted to Mr. Markov 5 Gregories and he got 1st place in weekly ranking of liars. By the way, if You notice some strange news, please send it to us and we will figure out if it is true or false.
