What is Belarusian Interactive Catalogue of Fakes

The Belarusian Interactive Catalogue of Fakes is an online tool designed to explore false information and disinformation campaigns targeting Belarus. The Catalogue of Fakes was developed by the Belarusian Investigative Center (BIC) as part of their ongoing AntiFake News project, which has been gathering and examining false information campaigns since 2021.

The platform offers a comprehensive overview of the fake news landscape in Belarus, including visualizations and search functions to help users identify and understand disinformation tactics. It also provides insights into the media and individuals involved in spreading false narratives and allows users to explore specific examples of manipulation and distortion of information. This is a holistic view of how the propaganda machine works.

$170 billion made on water breaks? How FIFA’s revenue was exaggerated on TRK Gomel

Soccer official Artsiom Anikin claimed on TRK Gomel that FIFA earned more than $170 billion from water breaks alone during matches at the 2026 World Cup. However, this figure does not align with the Federation’s publicly available financial data. FIFA projected revenue of $11 billion for the entire four-year cycle.

Did FIFA cover up stadium names for the first time? What’s wrong with official Anikin’s claim on TRK Gomel?

During his appearance on a TRK Gomel show, soccer official Artsiom Anikin stated that the 2026 FIFA World Cup was the first tournament in which FIFA banned the display of commercial stadium names. However, this is not a new practice. The “clean stadium” rules were also applied at previous World Cups, including the 2018 tournament in Russia.

“A torpedo that will be launched against Russia”: SBTV сreates the image a military threat from Moldova

Nikita Kondratov, a blogger from Transnistria, stated on SBTV that Moldova is allegedly being turned into a “torpedo” against Russia and that the country’s military spending has already surpassed its healthcare spending. However, that is not the case. Moldova spends several times as much on hospitals, education, and social protection as on its military.

“They never wanted to join NATO.” What’s wrong with the statement made by political scientist Piatrouski about Ukrainians?

Political analyst Piotr Piatrouski appeared on CTV and stated that Ukrainians never wanted to join NATO. He attributed the surge in support after 2022 to emotional reactions. However, poll data tell a different story. Support for joining the Alliance became the prevailing sentiment even after the annexation of Crimea and the start of the war in Donbas. Following Russia’s full-scale invasion, support rose to over 70%.
