The retaliation Trump didn’t promise: How the ONT distorted his remarks on Iran
An excerpt from an interview with Donald Trump about the U.S.-Iran standoff was aired on ONT’s program Nashi Novosti. However, the Russian translation attributed words to the U.S. president that he did not actually say, including references to retaliation, plans for a larger-scale war, and a reduction in U.S. air defense stockpiles and long-range munitions. However, the original was edited to exclude Trump’s critical evaluations of Iran’s military situation.

According to them, milk production is dwindling, and Greece is reportedly among the countries where people are undernourished. However, data from Eurostat and the FAO indicate the opposite. Milk production in the EU is increasing, and Greece is not included on the food vulnerability map.

“Notice how many foreign delegations were present.” Radio Minsk misidentified foreign guests as representatives from Germany and the U.S.
According to economic expert Georgy Grits, official delegations from Germany and the United States attended the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum for the first time since the start of the war in Ukraine. However, that is not the case. While citizens from those countries were indeed present at the forum, neither Berlin nor Washington has confirmed that they were representing government delegations.
