The Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office has already filed the first rape case to court and announced the name of the accused, as well as his place of service in the Russian army. Mikhail Romanov serves in the 239th Regiment of the 90th Regiment of the Vitebsk-Novgorod Guards Tank Division of the Russian Armed Forces. He is accused of rape in the village of Shevchenkovo, Brovary district, in March 2022. The woman recognised him from photos on social media. In addition, the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office named several other alleged rapists, which completely contradicts Olga Skabeyeva's statement.
